A. I provide all services for both residential and business customers
Q. Are you a qualified engineer?
A. I have 30 years of experience in the industry, working for BT for 13 years as a business systems installation engineer and as Landline Telecom for 17 years
Q. Can you help with the UK digital landline switchover?
A. Yes of course. whether you are a business or residential customer I can advise and help you to move to the new digital systems
Q. Can you move or repair existing phone sockets?
A. I can move or repair existing sockets (including master phone points). If you have fibre to the premises, I can provide an Ethernet cable from the main connection box to a new position so you can move your router.
Q. Do you provide VoIP phone lines
A. Only for businesses unfortunately. However, I can provide VoIP services for businesses ranging from a single phone (called Phoneline+) to a multi line phone system
Q. Can you provide broadband and phone systems as a package?
A. I can supply broadband and phone systems or just broadband or a phone system for business customers. I will discuss your existing situation and requirements and tailor a solution to suit
Q. Do you charge a call out fee?
A. I do not charge a separate call out fee. My charges for the first hour include a separate small amount to cover travelling time and fuel depending on the customer’s location.
Q. Do you have insurance?
A. I am insured whilst on your premises for public liability insurance for £2,000,000. This would cover for any accidental damage
Q. Do you provide WiFi equipment and upgrade existing systems
A. I can supply anything for both residential and business customers from a simple WiFi access point to a complete WiFi solution for a larger premises. I can also provide point to point systems to extend WiFi to separate buildings and also external WiFi access points.
Q. Do you install structured data cabling systems?
A. I can install anything from a single Ethernet cable to connect two rooms, to a complete multiple data point system including a data cabinet. Both residential and business.
Q. Do you install Starlink broadband?
A. Yes I do. Starlink now have a range of affordable plans and I can install the dish and set it all up for you
